While traveling in Paris, I was struck by beautiful pieces of earrings. I discovered a number of unique, thoughtfully designed brands, which inspired me to start my own jewelry brand. Along the way, I began collecting pieces as souvenirs, each one holding a memory of a place. By the end of the trip, I realized I had built a collection of my own.

Jewelries from my travels led me to create designs that truly reflect my style. One thing I noticed was that although many of the pieces I collected were beautiful in design, a number of them did not hold up over time — often falling apart or tarnishing quickly, especially with exposure to water. I have always believed that simplicity is best. With that in mind, I set out to create jewelry that is simple yet distinctive, while prioritizing quality, longevity, and above all, comfort.

What I value most about jewelry is its ability to enhance how you feel. The right piece can bring a quiet sense of confidence — not something essential, but something that naturally complements who you already are. That is what I hope Oabu becomes for you.

I began this journey at 22, and now at 24, it has finally come to life. Every detail has been developed thoughtfully and intentionally, with the hope of connecting with those who share a similar aesthetic and sensibility. Each piece is a reflection of that intention.
